How to Make DIY Dollar Tree Yarn Pumpkin Wreath

Diy Dollar Tree Yarn Pumpkin Wreath

To start off the wreath, I took the end of the yarn and used that to tie it around the outer wire from the wreath form.

Then wrap the yarn around the entire wreath form.

I wrapped it tightly around the wreath form so that it gives the pumpkin a fuller look.

Once completely wrapped, I took the section of burlap that I had (it was about 5 inches by 4 inches) and tri folded it.

I hot glued it together to secure the pieces.

Then add some hot glue to the backside of the wreath and press the burlap piece firmly on.

Be careful as the burlap has holes and some of the hot glue and go through the holes and burn your fingers.

Next I created a simple bow by cutting 3 pieces of ribbon.

One 5 inches long, and two 7 inches long.

I fold the 5 inch section in half with some overlapping and the same with one of the 7 inch sections.

I used some spare string to tie the pieces in the center. I covered the center section with a small piece of ribbon to make it have a finished look.

I decided to add some tails to the bow by using the last piece of 7 inch ribbon, folding it in half, adding it to the backside of the bow with some glue and then cutting the ends of the ribbon to make the dovetails.

I then added some hot glue to the backside of the ribbon and pressed it firmly onto the front of the wreath.
