Liberty Flag Free Pillow Pattern

This new Liberty Flag Free Pillow Pattern I have for you is such a fast and fun project! Plus it’s a great way to use up scrap fabric left over from a quilt!

This sweet pillow is made up in my Sweet Freedom fabrics that are in stores now and you can mix and match your prints, or keep them all the same! It’s a great project for an afternoon since it is so quick to sew up. And it would look so cute anywhere in the house – you can use it for a pillow on your bed or sofa or even a cute addition to an entry way bench or table. It’s sized at 12″ x 20″ so it’ll fit anywhere!

This pillow has pieced stripes then a little raw edge applique star section. I added cute running stitch embroidery details to mine and I love how the stitching just outlines everything. I also included my favorite pom pom trim for the edging – I think it adds a bit of fun to the edge, don’t you?

Liberty Flag Free Pillow Pattern

You can find Sweet Freedom fabrics in shops now. I used a scrap of linen for my star but any light colored solid will work great. You can find the pom pom trim I used here – I tend to go through a lot so I get a large spool.
